The Activate Mobile App page allows you to generate a mobile app activation code to activate the Microsoft Authenticator mobile app on your device. If you have already activated devices, they will be listed and can be deactivated as needed.
To activate the Microsoft Authenticator mobile app on your device:
Click the Generate Activation Code button.
In the mobile app on your device, add a Work or School account and either scan the QR code or enter the code and URL manually. If you are accessing the Multi-Factor Authentication User Portal in a browser on your device, a "To activate on this device click here" link will be displayed. Clicking the link will automatically launch the mobile app with the activation code and URL filled in.
After completing the activation in the mobile app, click the Complete Activation button to finish the process and save the device.
To deactivate a device:
Click the Deactivate link next to the device.
Confirm the deactivation by clicking OK.
